In 1964, attorney Lyn A. Pickhover graduated from Wheaton College in Massachusetts with a BA and departmental honors in Classics. She went on to earn her JD from the New England School of Law in 1985. At that time, it was the only law school in the country with a program for people with child care responsibilities.
From her first child protective investigation and appellate work while still in law school, Attorney Pickhover has focused on providing advice and assistance to families and children in a variety of legal crises. Attorney Pickhover served as the Attleboro District Court Bar Association President in 1996 and was a founding member of the Juvenile Bar Association. In addition, she has received the First Justices' Award for Pro Bono Publico Excellence many times. She has served on many boards and committees to help the community.
